How to Eat & Drink Around EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival for Under $100
The 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival kicked off at the end of February and you still have a ton of time to enjoy it! The festival lasts through May 27th this year.
As much as I absolutely love EPCOT festivals, I have to admit that they can be a bit expensive, especially if you’re like me and want to try as many of the foods and drinks as possible. So, I am here to help you with your budgeting!
I’m going to break down what I would buy at the Flower & Garden Festival booths if I only had $100 to spend. This amount might still sound like a lot, but for Disney standards, it’s relatively affordable — especially if you’re splitting food with another person. So, let’s go eat and drink around the festival!
Enjoying EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival for Under $100
Tamale de Rajas — Jardin de Fiestas — $8.75
Over in the Mexico Pavilion, you’ll find Jardin de Fiestas, where you can grab the Tamale de Rajas. This has poblano peppers, corn, and cheese in masa topped with poblano cream sauce, crema Mexicana, pickled carrots, and onions with chives.
This is a super flavorful meatless option to grab at the festival! It’s just a bunch of cheesy goodness.
If you don’t think you’ll like this item, you can instead try this alternative: House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons from Lotus House for $8.25.
Potato Pancakes — Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market — $5.25
In this booth located in the Germany Pavilion, grab the Potato Pancakes with house-made apple sauce. This is such a lovely comfort food combo and it comes with two pancakes if you want to share!
It’s also a plant-based option and on the Garden Graze food crawl.
Alternative: Toasted Pretzel Bread from Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market for $6.
Radler Raspberry — Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market — $5.75
Time for a drink! One of my favorites can also be found at this booth in Germany — it’s the Stiegl Brewery Radler Raspberry from Salzburg, Austria. If you get the 6 oz. option, it’ll help you stay under budget and save up some stomach space.
Alternative: Urban Artifact Capy Snacks Fruit Punch Fruit Ale from Magnolia Terrace for $5.75.
Bananas Foster Bread Pudding — Magnolia Terrace — $4.75
Magnolia Terrace is in the American Adventure Pavilion and it’s where you can find the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. This is warm, rich, and delicious — I highly recommend!
Alternative: Coconut Tres Leches from La Isla Fresca for $5.
Ramen Cup — Hanami — $8.50
Next, we’re going over to the Japan Pavilion where you can get the Ramen Cup at Hanami! This is a ramen salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables, grilled chicken, and dashi broth with chili oil and yuzu.
It’s a very interesting way to eat some ramen, and it has some great flavor!
Alternative: Spicy Chicken Gumbo from Magnolia Terrace for $6.25.
Mediterranean Flatbread — Tangierine Cafe — $6
Tangierine Cafe is in the Morocco Pavilion and it’s where you can grab the Mediterranean Flatbread! This comes with chermoula, roasted vegetables, artichoke, olives, and feta cheese.
This portion size is awesome for the price, and it’s another fun meatless option!
Alternative: IMPOSSIBLE Jamaican Beef Patty from La Isla Fresca for $6.50.
Goat Cheese Croissant — Fleur de Lys — $6.95
The Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et ail Rôtie is at Fleur de Lys in the France Pavilion. If you don’t speak French, this is a croissant with goat cheese, herbs, and roasted garlic.
This is just delicious garlicky cheese inside a warm flaky pastry — what more could you ask for?!
Alternative: Bocconcini from Primavera Kitchen for $7.50.
Strawberry Basil Sorbet — Swirled Showcase — $6.50
For another sweet treat, check out the Strawberry Basil Sorbet in a waffle cone from Swirled Showcase! This booth is near the front of World Showcase, going toward Canada.
It’s a refreshing dessert to have when it’s warm outside and a more unique flavor than just plain strawberry thanks to that basil.
Alternative: DOLE Whip from Pineapple Promenade for $6.50.
Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade — Pineapple Promenade — $4.75
One of the best non-alcoholic drinks at the festival is the Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade from Pineapple Promenade. This is an absolutely iconic item of Flower & Garden Festival and for a good reason — it’s super tasty and beautiful to look at!
Alternative: Cucumber Watermelon Slush from Florida Fresh for $5.
Violet Lemonade Ale — Pineapple Promenade — $5.75
For an alcoholic drink, I’d also suggest getting the Violet Lemonade Ale from Pineapple Promenade. This is made by Playalinda Brewing Company from Titusville, Florida and it’s exactly what you think it is — a beer version of the Violet Lemonade! The 6 oz. pour will help you stay under budget.
Alternative: Left Hand Brewing Lemon Drop Shandy from The Citrus Blossom for $5.75.
Cubanito — Florida Fresh — $6.50
Over at Florida Fresh, check out the Cubanito sandwich. This has mojo-marinated pork belly, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and stone ground mustard sauce.
It’s a hearty little sandwich that is definitely shareable as a snack!
Alternative: Muffuletta Panini from Magnolia Terrace for $6.25.
Grilled Street Corn on the Cob — Farmers Feast — $5.75
At Farmers Feast in World Discovery, grab the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob. This comes with delicious savory garlic spread and plant-based cheese.
The corn is grilled right in front of you so it’s super fresh! This is also a plant-based item and on the Garden Graze.
Alternative: Honey-glazed Cauliflower from The Honey Bee-stro for $5.
Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail — Farmers Feast — $12
A great cocktail is also available at Farmers Feast — the Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail featuring Islamorada Brewery and Distillery hibiscus gin! This is the most expensive item on the list, so keep that in mind, but it still keeps us under budget and lets you have a refreshing, tasty drink.
Alternative: Frozen Mojito with Boyd & Blair Rum from Refreshment Port for $13.
Avocado Toast — BRUNCHCOT — $6
A brunch classic is executed perfectly at BRUNCHCOT in World Discovery. The Avocado Toast comes with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles on toasted ciabatta. This plant-based item is another one that’s on the Garden Graze!
Alternative: Pan-fried Vegetable Dumplings from Lotus House for $5.50.
Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites — BRUNCHCOT — $5
Finally, we end with dessert. These are the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites from BRUNCHCOT. They come with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon — it’s brunch food heaven!
Alternative: Lemon Meringue Pie from The Citrus Blossom for $4.75.
So, if you get every single item on this list, it brings your total to $98.20! We’re under budget with over a dollar to spare. Of course, customize this list however you want and feel free to swap in some of those alternatives (which will still keep you right around $100).
Happy eating and drinking! Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates.
