MickeyBlog’s Favorite Items at the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival!
The 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is underway in Disney World, and there are so many things to do! You can check out the topiaries and gardens, catch some exciting entertainment, and shop for new merchandise.
One of the biggest (and best) parts of this festival is the food, and there are many items to choose from. It’s hard to know which items are worth your money and stomach space, but we’re here to help!
We’re breaking down our favorite items at this year’s Flower & Garden Festival!
Our 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Favorites
Grilled Street Corn — Farmers Feast
First up, we have the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob from Farmers Feast! This comes with a savory garlic spread and plant-based cheese for $5.75. It’s a plant-based item and it’s one of the items on the Garden Graze.
We loved this corn! It’s grilled right in front of you so you know it’s fresh and there’s a nice char on it. There is a generous amount of sauce on the outside that really brings out the flavors of the corn and it’s a good portion size!
Strawberry Rhubarb Upside Down Cake — Farmers Feast
Next, we have the Strawberry Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake, also from Farmers Feast. This comes with crème fraîche whipped cream for $4.75.
It’s served warm and the flavors are delicious! The cake is moist and you get the taste of the fresh strawberries and rhubarb along with a nice glaze on it. Do note that this is part of the Early Bloom Menu, which is only available until March 30th.
Avocado Toast — BRUNCHCOT
Another one of our favorites was the Avocado Toast from BRUNCHCOT. This comes with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles on toasted ciabatta for $6. It’s a plant-based item and also on the Garden Graze.
The bread here holds up really well to the avocado, which is definitely fresh! The marinated tomatoes bring a lot of flavor and there are even watermelon radishes on top which add more freshness and texture. It might be considered basic, but it’s tasty!
Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich — Connections Eatery
Heading over to Connections Eatery, you’ll find two more of our favorite items. The first is the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, which is a southern-fried chicken sandwich with hot honey and pickles on a brioche bun for $12.49.
We thought this was absolutely delicious! The chicken was juicy and it had a great amount of seasoning and a crispy coating on the outside. But, the hot honey takes the sandwich to the next level! The flavors all go together so well.
Blood Orange Hibiscus Margarita — Connections Eatery
The second item over here that we loved was the Blood Orange Hibiscus Margarita. This has Teremana Tequila with hibiscus and blood orange syrup and orange juice for $15.
This drink had the perfect amount of alcohol in it to where you could taste it but it wasn’t overwhelming. The juices were refreshing and a great balance between sweet and tart — this was one of our favorite festival drinks ever at Flower & Garden!
Grilled Warm Lobster Tail — Florida Fresh
The next one is for the seafood lovers! The Grilled Warm Lobster Tail from Florida Fresh is served with Key lime butter for $11.25.
The lobster is cooked very well and the Key lime butter added a great flavor to it! It’s rich and buttery and just all-around a great seafood option.
Cucumber Watermelon Slushy with Gin — Florida Fresh
Another item available at Florida Fresh is the Cucumber Watermelon Slushy with gin for $13. This is also available without alcohol for $5.
This drink is super refreshing due to the flavors and the fact that it’s frozen! It has more watermelon flavor than cucumber and it’s great for those upcoming hot days in the park.
Tamale de Rajas — Jardin de Fiestas
Over in the Mexico Pavilion is Jardin de Fiestas where you can get the delicious Tamale de Rajas! This has poblano peppers, corn and cheese in masa topped with poblano cream sauce, crema Mexicana, pickled carrots and onions with chives for $8.75.
This is soooo good! The inside filling was very tasty and went perfectly with the sauce on the top. It’s got a ton of flavor and we’d recommend coming to this booth just for this item.
House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons — Lotus House
Moving over to the China Pavilion, you can get the House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons at Lotus House for $8.25. These are just like the wontons ones you probably know and love, but they’re still delicious!
They were perfectly fried to make them crispy and the mixture inside had some great flavor. The sauce it comes with is like the duck sauce from Chinese restaurants and went great with the wontons!
Potato Pancakes — Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market
The Potato Pancakes are a staple of this festival for a reason — they’re delicious! These pancakes are made up of potato (duh) and onions and then topped with apple sauce for $5.25
They’re a plant-based item and they count toward this year’s Garden Graze! This is just the perfect comfort food that’s relatively simple but brings a bunch of great flavors. And if you think the apple sauce is an odd choice, don’t knock it ’til you try it!
Chocolate Cannoli — Primavera Kitchen
The only thing worth getting at the Primavera Kitchen booth is the Chocolate-Covered Cannoli Shell for $5.75. This has a peanut butter-ricotta filling inside of it!
This cannoli tasted like a slice of peanut butter pie! It’s not like a traditional cannoli at all, but it’s wonderful and we highly recommend it.
Beef Tenderloin Tips — Northern Bloom
At Northern Bloom, you can get the Beef Tenderloin Tips for $7.25. It comes with a mushroom bordelaise sauce and whipped potatoes with garden vegetables.
This is a hearty dish! The beef was tender and went great with the sauce. The sauce also worked very well on those creamy potatoes that come with this.
Funnel Cake — Funnel Cake Stand
Now, for another dessert! The Funnel Cake for this festival is a funnel cake with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, strawberries, whipped cream, strawberry glaze and strawberry crunch for $12.
This funnel cake was super crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It has a bright, fresh strawberry flavor and the contrast of the hot funnel cake with the cold and creamy vanilla ice cream is perfect.
Violet Lemonade Ale — Pineapple Promenade
This is a beer based off of the iconic Violet Lemonade non-alcoholic drink that you can get at this same booth (Pineapple Promenade). It’s made by Playalinda Brewing Company in Titusville, Florida and you can get a 6 oz. pour for $5.75 or a 12 oz. pour for $9.75.
This is a light and fruity beer with some tartness from that lemonade flavor. It goes perfectly with the vibes of this festival!
Gâteau au Crémeux Citron, Lavende et Thym, Compote de Fruits Rouges — Fleur de Lys
Another one of our favorite items was the Gâteau au Crémeux Citron, Lavende et Thym, Compote de Fruits Rouges from Fleur de Lys. It’s a warm cake filled with lemon, lavender and thyme-infused cream served with berry compote for $6.95.
This was our favorite item of this entire booth! The berry compote went so well with the lavender, lemon, and thyme flavors in the cake. It’s a very unique combo that works well together!
Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze — Honey Bee-stro
Finally, we have the Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze with Streusel from Honey Bee-stro. We got the non-alcoholic version of the drink, which is $5, but you can also get it with blueberry vodka in it for $13.
This is like peach cobbler in a drink! It was refreshing and had a ton of flavor, even without the alcohol. We honestly wanted a bigger size because it was so good!
Those are all of our favorites from EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival this year! Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates.
