Northern Bloom is Once Again a Winner at the Flower & Garden Festival
Welcome all, to the very first day of the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival!
The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and your MickeyBloggers are reporting LIVE from the park all day.
Right now, we’re on a tasty tour of the World Showcase, where there are plenty of delicious treats to be tried across the festival’s various outdoor kitchens.
Our next stop is — honestly — one we’ve been dreaming of ever since last year’s festival ended. Last year, there was a dish at this booth that was SO good, we couldn’t wait to come back this year to try it again.
Wanna learn what the fuss is about? Read on…
Northern Bloom
Last year, the Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake was quickly declared a “festival favorite” by our MickeyBlog reporters, who claimed the treat was one of the most delicious they tasted at the event… by far.
With our hopes high and our taste buds tingling, let’s approach the booth and see what’s on offer!
Food
There is one savory menu on the item here, and it’s the Beef Tenderloin Tips, served with mushroom bordelaise sauce, whipped potatoes, and garden vegetables.
According to our reporters, this dish was absolutely divine. In fact, it’s looking like a MickeyBlog Festival Favorite already this year!
The beef was tender and the sauce was perfection, drawing the meat and vegetables together beautifully. Our mouths are watering just hearing about it!
However, our star of the show is always going to be that divine Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake, which we’re thrilled to see has reclaimed its rightful spot on the Northern Bloom menu this year.
If you missed the treat at last year’s festival, make sure you give it a go on your next visit!
Beverages
When it comes to alcohol, Northern Bloom is producing quite the line-up.
Returning to the menu this year is the Glutenberg Blonde Ale, but it’s joined by the Beyond Reason Micro Pale Ale and the Grapefruit Lime Sour, both by Collective Arts Brewing and new to the booth this year.
Can’t pick just one? Don’t worry — the Beer Flight is the option for you!
If you’re not much of a beer drinker, there’s also the Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Blackberry Wine to try. Doesn’t that sound like a taste of summer?
