MickeyBlog’s Favorite Items at the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts
The 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicked off last week and there are a ton of fun things to do! We were at the first day of the festival to check out all of the food, activities, merchandise, and more.
Like any EPCOT festival, the food is a big deal, and it’s important to know which items are worth your time and money. So, we’re here to help — we’re breaking down the best items at Festival of the Arts!
The Best Items at the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts
Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Little Sparks of Magic
We’re kicking things off over at Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey! This booth has a bunch of sweet treats and colorful drinks, but one in particular stood out.
The Blueberry-filled Pastry Tart with purple icing was one of our faves! This is basically Disney’s version of a Pop-Tart and you can get it for $4.75.
We thought this had a decent amount of filling and a lot of icing on it. It wasn’t overly sweet and the size is great for sharing.
This is also an item on the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine!
The Artist’s Table
The Artist’s Table is located over in The American Adventure Pavilion. This booth actually has probably our favorite item of the whole festival — the Hummingbird Cake!
This is a banana and pecan cake dipped in cream cheese icing with caramel sauce and warm pineapple compote for $4.75. It’s absolutely delicious — the cake is moist and not overly sweet and the cream cheese icing is a great balance to the cake.
The pineapple and caramel add another layer of flavor that goes perfectly with everything else going on in this dessert. We highly recommend this one!
We also really enjoyed the beers at this spot. You can get the new Wicked Weed Pineapple Daydream IPA, Brew Hub Jazzberry Wheat Jam Ale, or Lost Coast Brewery Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout.
These are $5.75 for a 6 oz. or $9.75 for a 12 oz, or you can get all three of them in a beer flight for $10.25.
We thought the Pineapple Daydream IPA had a very subtle pineapple flavor. It definitely has the hops you usually find in IPAs but it’s not very sweet.
The Wheat Jam Ale is light and crisp and you definitely taste a little bit of a berry flavor in the beer.
Finally, with the Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout, you can definitely taste the peanut butter and chocolate flavors! It is a bit on the heavier side, but it’s not sweet, and you can taste that earthiness and richness from the peanut butter and chocolate.
Overall, it’s a nice beer flight with a lot of variety and definitely a good item to share with someone!
Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina
Tangierine Café is in the Morocco Pavilion and has some great items for the festival! We loved the Chermoula Chicken Grilled Kebabs with carrot-chickpea salad and garlic aïoli for $6.25.
The meat was very tender and juicy with a nice char on the outside. The key to this dish is definitely taking a bite of the chicken and the carrot-chickpea salad!
The salad has a subtle kick to it and it’s fantastic.
Another great item here is the Chocolate Cake with Pomegranate Mousse and pomegranate whipped cream. This is a new item you can get for $5.
Visually, this cake is very pretty, but it’s also delicious! The chocolate on the bottom is dense and goes well with the pomegranate mousse.
We thought this pairing was unique and a great option for someone looking for a dessert with both chocolate and fruit.
Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina
Vibrante & Vívido is between Morocco and France and really brought the flavor this year. The Chorizo and Potato Empanada with turmeric aïoli and annatto aïoli was a hit with our team!
The empanada has a lot of flavor and a nice kick to it, but it’s not overly spicy. This is a dish we’d for sure buy again at the festival!
It’s $6.75 and also on The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.
The other delicious item over here is the new Passion Fruit-filled Mango Cheesecake with coconut-pineapple cake, dragon fruit gelée, and dragon fruit-strawberry sauce for $5.
Just look at how pretty this is! It tastes as good as it looks, too.
The cheesecake is light and not too sweet. The fruit adds a bunch of flavor and keeps this very well balanced. This really gave us some great summertime vibes!
Pop Eats!
Finally, we’re headed over to Pop Eats! which is located in World Showcase Plaza near Port of Entry. We loved the Tomato Soup with the Pimento Cheese, Bacon and Fried Green Tomato Grilled Cheese.
This dish has a lot of great flavor and the combo of the pimento cheese, bacon, and fried green tomato is fantastic. Paired with the soup, this dish is a winner.
You can get it for $6.50 and it’s also an item on the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.
Those were all of our favorite items from the 2024 Festival of the Arts! Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates.
