Indy 5: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, James Mangold Seen on Set
Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge returns to Lucasfilm with Indy 5; she joins director James Mangold in Scotland…
There is nothing wrong with this. Nothing at all. One of the best actors on the planet, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, is joining — perhaps — the most legendary actor on the planet, Harrison Ford.

Although Harrison is sidelined (Happy Belated, Mr. Ford), it’s great to see work on Indy V continue.
Waller-Bridge Socks it to Glasgow
Both Waller-Bridge and new Indiana Jones director James Mangold were seen in Glasgow, Scotland over the last few days.

On Wednesday, the Fleabag star, 36, was photographed on the set of Indiana Jones 5 in Glasgow’s city center in Scotland while filming scenes for the highly-anticipated installment of the Harrison Ford film.
Waller-Bridge painted a cool picture wearing a ’60s-inspired outfit with blue and white pin-striped pants, high-heeled boots, a green V-neck shirt, a burgundy coat, blue cap, round sunglasses and a crossover purse.
Mangold Takes Charge
Meanwhile, The National (Scotland) reported:

American flags, stars and stripes bunting, and US-style mailboxes have been set up on streets close to George Square.
For the first time, the Indiana Jones picture is being directed by someone other than Steven Spielberg.

James Mangold – known for films including Girl, Interrupted, Walk the Line, The Wolverine and Logan – has taken the reins this time and has been spotted in Glasgow taking charge on set.
Now, I have seen and loved, Fleabag, but those who read this space know that I loved Solo: A Star Wars Story and Waller-Bridge’s character L337. And, both of Mangold’s X-Men films, The Wolverine and Logan, remain among my favorite Marvel films.
Logan, in particular, is exquisite.
When Will Indy Return?
But you know what will be even more beautiful?
Seeing Mr. Ford in the fedora sometime soon.

“The actor was pictured in Mayfair in London last Friday with his arm in a sling after reportedly suffering a minor injury while rehearsing a fight scene,” said Angus Cochrane of The National.
“He has not yet been spotted in Glasgow, though he may have been allowed a day off for his birthday (July 13).”
