Indy 5 Glasgow Set Photos Point To Plot Point
Glasgow, Scotland could reveal a more precise timeline for one part of Indiana Jones V…
Journalists and paparazzi in Scotland continue to contribute much to coverage (and consideration) of the upcoming “Indiana Jones” film.
As such, it seems as if the UK will be the setting for one part of the film — seemingly a throwback to World War II-era Europe — while also placing a part of the movie in 1960’s New York City.
However, with the above typed, I would suggest that anyone looking to be TOTALLY unspoiled should “travel by map” to another story.
Still here? Good.
What Did We Uncover?
Now, I am not suggesting we know everything about Indy 5. After all, Dr. Jones, himself, says in The Last Crusade, “We do not follow maps to buried treasure, and “X” never, ever, marks the spot.”
Except when it does, but more on that later.

But all the speculation in the world does not a plot synopsis make. But today we’re in for a real moon shot.
Let me explain.
On Thursday, the lovely folks at the Evening Glasgow Times noticed something big in shots of the presumed Indy 5 sets in their fair city.

Our eagle-eyed photographer scoping out the scene noticed a key set piece that reveals what could be a major plot point in the film.
Details are being kept strictly under wraps but based on this vital clue, the Glasgow Times can reveal the picture is set in New York City in 1969.

A Walk Around Glasgow
The reporters for the Glasgow Times also walked around the City Centre to show viewers around the set.
Ruth Suter joined Hamish for a stroll, which presumably happened prior to seeing the sign above.
Hamish also notes the celebration for Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins occurred on August 13, 1969, and was highlighted with a New York “ticker tape” parade.
Meanwhile, we have been keeping close tabs on Indy’s travels than Toht.

So, just to recap. We believe Indy fights Nazis during a WWII throwback scene. We also have reason to surmise Dr. Jones finds himself in 1969, in the middle of the “Space Race” and “The Cold War.”
All of this seems to throw water on a hot take we posted back in February, which said Indy was looking for the Fountain of Youth.
With the focus on the Apollo 11 celebration, maybe our McGuffin might be found with NASA.
