One ‘X-Men’ Star Says They Are NOT Returning For ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’
With Deadpool & Wolverine officially set to bridge the gap between Fox’s X-Men movies and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are preparing for a TON of cameos.
While Marvel is largely keeping things under wraps, we do know that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra, Liev Schreiber will return as Sabertooth, and Aaron Stanford will be back as Pyro.

Additionally, it seems almost certain that Patrick Stewart will return as Professor Charles Xavier.
Even with that impressive list of names, most of Deadpool & Wolverine’s cameos are still unclear. According to Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder in the Deadpool franchise, fans are in for a treat.

“There are a lot of surprises,” he said, adding, “Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London.”
One ‘X-Men’ Star Will Not Return
While we may not know all the characters who will reappear in Deadpool & Wolverine, it sounds like we can scratch one name off the list — Famke Janssen’s Jean Grey. Despite rumors that her character would reappear in the film, the Goldeneye actress told ScreenGeek that is not the case.
“I’m not in [Deadpool & Wolverine]. No. Everybody keeps asking. So, at some point, I was like, ‘Wait, am I in ‘Deadpool,’ and I just don’t know it yet?’ But, no. I’m not. No, no.”

Janssen played Jean Grey opposite Hugh Jackman in the original X-Men film trilogy. She would later reprise her role in The Wolverine and have a cameo in Days of Future Past.
While Janssen is adamant that she will not be in Deadpool & Wolverine, with Marvel, you can never be sure. For now, however, fans shouldn’t hold their breath.
