PHOTOS: Trees Pop Up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World
Splash Mountain is currently undergoing a huge transformation to be turned into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in both Disney World and Disneyland. We’ve been keeping a close eye on the progress of both attractions.
The ride is not scheduled to be completed until the end of 2024, so we still have a ways to go. But, we did notice some exciting construction updates over in Magic Kingdom today!
New Construction at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
There are some new structures up over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
If you look near the water tower with Tiana’s name on it, you can see these large trees sticking up. These are new!
They have some short branches on them and look like they might be used to hold up lights or something. We’ll have to wait and see!
We’re curious to see if these are the only trees that will go up or if there will be more around the outside of the ride.
There is still a lot of scaffolding up around the attraction and a lot of work left to be done.
Over around the other side of the ride, we noticed that more of the large mural has been completed. You can read more about this mural and how it came to be right here!
We also noticed that more bricks have been added to this formation on the ground…
…and it looks like more work has been done in this area, too. Things are definitely starting to take shape!
