Work Continues on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World

Although the future of the Magic Kingdom may lie beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, for now, the only project on the park’s docket is the transformation of Splash Mountain into Tiania’s Bayou Adventure.

The newest Magic Kingdom E-Ticket attraction is set to debut late next year, and exterior construction is visible throughout the area.

While construction walls block much of the area from guests’ sight, riders on the Walt Disney World Railroad can get a glimpse of what is happening.

The Latest Construction Update

Right now, it appears that work is underway on the area outside of the attraction where new pathways are being created.

It will be interesting to see how Disney integrates the Tiana area into the rest of Frontierland.

Here is another look at the construction.

Those hoping to get a better view of the work from the Frontierland train station are out of luck.

Disney has blocked off the seating area that overlooks the construction, making sure they do their best not to ruin the magic.

Finally, work is also continuing on the other side of the tracks. Splash Mountain’s exterior queue was winding and expansive.

There is a lot of work to be done.

When Will Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Open?

Hopefully, if everything goes well, we will see the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in roughly a year from now.
