PHOTOS: The Latest EPCOT Construction in Disney World
EPCOT is currently undergoing a massive transformation that includes things like new rides and restaurants. A lot has opened up already, but there is more on the way!

We recently saw a very promising sign of things to come over at Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. We’ve also been keeping an eye on everything else happening in the park, and we have an update for you!
EPCOT Construction Update
World Celebration has a lot of work being done on it right now. One of the major projects is CommuniCore Hall and Plaza.
CommuniCore Hall is going to be a spot used for the various EPCOT festivals that happen throughout the year. There will also be a spot where you can meet Mickey & Friends.
This yellow building is what we believe to be the Hall, and it continues to be worked on!
Then these structures that are connected we think will be the shaded parts over the Plaza area.
Here’s a better look at what’s going on.
The area looks like it will have some great views of Spaceship Earth!
We also know that the EPCOT logo in the middle of this area is being worked on.
We saw a lot of construction happening!

Near the building, it looks like they’ve outlined some areas in shorter concrete walls. These could potentially be fountains or a seating area.
Scaffolding is still up on the sides of the building.
There is a LOT going on in here!
Over toward World Nature, you can see that some landscaping is happening.
This path also looks like it’s nearly done.
It should likely connect this part of the path that’s already open.
Work is also still happening across from the area where Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana is.
Another thing happening at EPCOT right now is construction going on in the parking lot.
Work has been happening over here for a while, with things like new character poles and signage.
This whole area is all dirt right now.
There is a big crane over here!
