Summer is almost here and EPCOT is already making preparations. An extended queue has been installed at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!

One of the most popular rides at EPCOT, Guardians has been open for roughly a year now. In order to enter the attraction, Guests must request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app.
An Individual Lightning Lane can also be purchased, but as with the Virtual Queue, its availability is limited. Once you acquire access, you’re in for a thrill!
Disney World invites you to, “Take off on an intergalactic chase through space and time with the Guardians of the Galaxy.” Speaking of Guardians, over on the West Coast, Disneyland is testing out a new Baby Groot Animatronic!

Summer is quickly approaching which means a higher crowd volume at Disney Parks.
To accommodate Guests and keep things in order, a larger line offers better flow at the attraction.
The addition of several rows, side by side, can accommodate quite a bit of people!

Should the virtual queue system remove the need for an extended physical queue? Does this mean the virutal queue will be removed soon?
Good question! Although there’s a virtual queue system, there are still substantial wait times at the ride. That being said, some are speculating this may suggest we will soon see a standby queue for this ride. That has not been confirmed, but we’ll see what happens!
