New Parking Signage Arrives at Epcot – For Both Cars and Strollers!
It’s a new day, and we’re back with even more updates on parking signage at Epcot!
And it’s not just one, but two different kind of “lots” we’re reporting on. We’ve noticed changes at both the vehicle and stroller areas around the park, so keep reading to be sure of what to expect the next time you look for a spot!
If you’ve visited Epcot at all over the past few months, you’ll no doubt have noticed the steady changeover of signage that has been taking place as the park slowly undergoes its long-term reimagining process.
At the end of last month, our MickeyBlog reporters spotted this new “Welcome” sign at the entranceway parking toll plaza, but now even more changes have been spotted as we pull into the lot!
In case you missed it, it was recently revealed that the different areas of the Epcot parking lot would be renamed after different Disney and Pixar characters, to better “reflect the identity of Epcot and its four neighborhoods”.
Along with other fan-favorite characters, one of the stars lending its face to a parking area is the one-and-only Wall-E, as evidenced by the bright white glow of this new signage paint on the sidewalk…
While the signage has been in place for a while to notify guests of the newly-named parking zones, the paintwork on the floor is still an ongoing process.
We look forward to seeing more, updated row numbers and character names on our upcoming visits to the Epcot parking lot!
Moving on now to the next spot in our parking tour of Epcot, and we’re heading into the park and over to World Discovery…
Here, we can see that even more new parking signage has been installed, and this time it’s for strollers!
This swanky new “Stroller Parking” sign fits the vibe of Epcot perfectly, using that same font and color scheme that somehow manages to stand out and blend in all at once.
The white writing is off-set against a dull, slate-gray background, with a vivid red border that pops out from the hedge in which the sign is mounted.
It’s not the biggest of signs, but does it really need to be?
Usually, stroller parks cannot be missed at Disney, as they’re always so full of the things that there’s never any room for doubt! While this sign was uncovered by strollers when our MickeyBloggers snapped these photos, our experience lends itself to our educated guess that there will be plenty parked here as the busy spring season begins at Walt Disney World. So much so, that you may not even spot the sign during peak hours of the day!
As you can tell from the photos, this newly-marked stroller parking zone is just down the pathway from Test Track, with the shining planets of Mission: Space peeking out from behind. If you’re looking to park your stroller on your next visit to World Discovery, now you’ll know where to look!
Be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com as we continue to monitor and admire the new updates and refreshes around Epcot, including all things parking, signage, and more. We look forward to seeing what comes next!
