WonderGround Gallery and Disney Home Reopen in Original Locations at Disneyland
Downtown Disney is currently undergoing construction as part of its reimagining, with a couple of stores recently closing/relocating. Although some beloved spots are exiting, we’re happy to report that Disneyland’s WonderGround Gallery and Disney Home have reopened in their original locations!
Downtown Disney Construction
Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar & Cafe recently closed to make way for Paseo and Centrico. Sprinkles, which sits beside/across from the locations, closed as well.
Meanwhile, the Jazz Kitchen is getting a more modern makeover. Last year, I had the pleasure of eating lunch upstairs in its new dining room.
The food was fantastic! All three of the items we purchased were delicious; we highly recommend the location.
During construction, WonderGround Gallery was relocated to the former ESPN Zone building. Disney Home closed, with similar merchandise available at World of Disney.
Nearby, the Disneyland Hotel is undergoing major construction due to a new addition located next to the Frontier Tower. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel opens on September 28, 2023!
Our MickeyBloggers recently visited the Happiest Place on Earth, where they noticed that WonderGround Gallery and Disney Home are back in action. They appear to look the same as before, but let’s take a closer look!
WonderGround Gallery and Disney Home
As you can see, the stores sit side by side.
WonderGround Gallery
I love this store, and am super excited to see it back open!
Inside, the layout looks the same.
Similar merchandise is on display/available.
Disney Home
Let’s check out Disney Home!
Notice the construction walls around Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar & Cafe in the background.
If you follow the pathway further to your left, you’ll come across the recently closed Sprinkles location.
The Jazz Kitchen sits to the right of WonderGround Gallery, as seen in the photos.
Let’s go inside!
As with WonderGround Gallery, Disney Home looks the same as when I visited last year.
Although, it does appear to be more open, with some displays possibly removed to make for a bigger walkway. This store gets a bit tight when crowded!
Keep following along for Disneyland construction updates! Speaking of which, check out how Adventureland Treehouse is coming along inside Disneyland Park!
We’re happy to see WonderGround Gallery and Disney Home back where they belong at the Disneyland Resort!
