Sneak Peek of Keister Coaster Slide at Boardwalk Inn
Ask anyone familiar with Disney Resort Hotels, the most recognizable water attraction at a hotel pool might be the notorious “clown slide” at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort. The Keister Coaster Slide is a fan-favorite, but the giant clown face at the bottom has long divided guests on whether the Luna Park Pool offers quaint carnival joy or funhouse creepiness.
But the questionable clown is no more!
As part of the resort’s refurbishment, the Luna Park Pool and wooden-coaster style waterslide have undergone a facelift! Zach Riddley, Disney Imagineer, released some sneak peaks this morning over on Instagram.

Mickey and Friends

The new frontage of the slide depicts Mickey and Friends enjoying the very ride they are shown on!
Mickey and Minnie are excitedly splashing down into the pool while Goofy cruises by above them. Daisy, true to her dainty ways, relaxes safely under a nearby umbrella.

This design gives a similar retro vibe to that of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the newest attraction at nearby Hollywood Studios. We love that tie-in!
Spelling Snafu

Progress on the new decor hit a small snag yesterday when the original “Keister Coaster” text was misspelled! A quick spell check and some new paint and all is well with the K-E-I-S-T-E-R today.
Who wouldn’t love splashing down with Mickey and Friends? We think this new family friendly theming will make the Boardwalk Resort pool an even bigger hit with guests!
