Disneyland Resort’s Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar & Cafe CLOSING
We have sad news for fans of two, Downtown Disney hot spots. Disneyland Resort’s Catal Restaurant and its Uva Bar & Cafe will soon be closing to make way for Paseo and Centrico, as part of Downtown Disney’s reimagining.
Disney fans will be sad to see the dining locations go. In the past, when walking through these eateries on the way to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, they were always busy.

Uva Bar & Cafe particularly holds special memories for me. I chose it as the location for a special family announcement and still have magical memories of the spot.
It’s always sad to see something make its exit out of Disney Parks. Let’s take a closer look at Disney’s announcement.
Uva Bar & Cafe

This upbeat, outdoor location offers fantastic views of Downtown Disney and is especially enchanting at night. Guests can enjoy Southern California’s prime weather while munching on delicious Spanish-style menu options.
Disneyland’s app and website say, “Uva Bar & Cafe will soon be closing to make way for an exciting new addition to the Downtown Disney District! Please check the operating hours ahead of your visit.”

You’ll also notice that Disneyland’s website says, “Monday, April 10, 2023, No Times Available.” The app still shows that dates are “Open” until May 6 but that’s just a reference to the 60-day advance reservation window typically available to Guests.
If you try to make a reservation from April 10 on, you’ll be met with the message, “There are no schedules available for the date selected.”

Uva Bar & Cafe is an offshoot of Catal Restaurant which sits right across the way. Disney invites Guests to “celebrate Old World romance at this relaxed yet elegant eatery where gourmet cuisine meets homespun hospitality.”
Similarly to Uva Bar & Cafe, Disneyland’s website/app says, “Catal Restaurant will soon be closing to make way for an exciting new addition to the Downtown Disney District! Please check the operating hours ahead of your visit.”
In addition, Disneyland’s website says, “Monday, April 10, 2023, No Times Available.” We’re sad to see these beloved Disneyland fixtures go.
If you’re interested in experiencing either of these locations, head to Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar & Cafe before they leave Downtown Disney forever.
