Disneyland Construction Updates: Downtown Disney and Disneyland Hotel
MickeyBlog is visiting Disneyland this week per a special invitation from Disney. Here are some construction updates in the Downtown Disney and Disneyland Hotel areas of the Resort.
Disneyland is currently in the midst of some expansion projects. Recently, we shared details of Downtown Disney’s reimagining, as well as plans for a new Avatar experience, and of course the elusive DisneylandForward project.
Speaking of which, we also reported on two Downtown Disney dining locations that will soon be closing their doors. Catal Restaurant and its Uva Bar & Cafe will make way for Paseo and Centrico, as part of Downtown Disney’s reimagining.
WonderGround Gallery is also included in Downtown Disney’s construction.
I love this boutique next door to Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express (the best place to get beignets)!
It features amazing artwork, along with merchandise donning an artistic flair.
For now, WonderGround Gallery has temporarily relocated near Star Wars Trading Post in the old ESPN Zone building.
Disney Home is right next door to WonderGround Gallery.
This shop is temporarily closed as well, but with no relocation option.
Guests can find similar merchandise at World of Disney near Disneyland and California Adventure’s Park gates.
The Disneyland Hotel is currently undergoing major construction due to a new addition located next to the Frontier Tower.
Recently, we shared a first look at Guest Rooms for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel!
This new tower will open on September 28, 2023!
This is the Disneyland Hotel’s fourth tower, conveniently located near Downtown Disney.
Twelve stories high, its colorful exterior will draw your eye to a place where Disney stories come to life!
There’s a lot going on at The Happiest Place on Earth, as it prepares to bring even more magic to Guests! MickeyBlog will continue to keep you updated with Disneyland’s transformations!
