Hungry Bear Restaurant Is Where It’s At When It Comes To Craveable Disneyland Eats
If you’re wondering where to find a satisfying meal at Disneyland Resort, we’ve got you covered! Hungry Bear Restaurant is the place to be!
MickeyBlog is visiting Disneyland Resort this week, per a special invitation from Disney! We just shared some fabulous Disney100 Loungefly Ears found at the Disneyland Hotel.

Now, let’s take a look at an underrated restaurant you may not be familiar with. Located near Splash Mountain in Critter Country, it happens to be my favorite lunch spot for more reasons than one!
So, what’s the draw you ask? Well, for one, the menu items are hearty, moderately priced, and delicious!

On top of that, it’s located along the Rivers of Ameria, providing sensational views. Pro Tip: After picking up your meal, head all the way to the end of the seating area, towards Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, for a quieter location.
Watch as the Mark Twain Riverboat sails by while you enjoy your meal. Hungry Bear Restaurant provides no shortage of Disney100 offerings either, as you’re about to see!
Our MickeyBlogger got her hands on three celebratory items available at the location. She also sampled a featured drink on the menu, along with a Disneyland favorite, beignets!
Let’s take a closer look at her reviews.
Disney100 Potato & Cheddar Cheeseburger
We got the Potato & Cheddar Cheeseburger for the #Disney100! We also opted for onion rings 🤤🤤#disney100 #Disneyland #CelebrateDisney100 pic.twitter.com/EVnT5msmM7

The Potato & Cheddar Cheeseburger features a: 1/3 lb Angus Chuck Patty, Green Chile and Bacon Cheddar Sauce and Spicy Crispy Potato Planks on a Brioche Bun. It’s served with your choice of Cuties Mandarin Oranges or French Fries (with an option to upgrade to onion rings).
Condiments are readily available in the outdoor seating area. Guests can get their hands on this bad boy for $15.49.
Our MickeyBlogger shares that this burger is as awesome as it looks! It’s also super filling, providing great fuel for a day walking around Disneyland Park.
The green chile and bacon cheddar sauce provides a mild spice, while the spicy crispy potato planks mirror hashbrowns.
We enjoyed the crispness of the bun, which held up to the weightiness of the burger. Overall, we loved this, and would definitely get it again; we found it to be unique and super delicious!
Onion Rings
We opted to upgrade to the onion rings for our side, which proved to be a smart choice.
Just check out the size of those things. The onion rings here happen to be one of my favorites and our MickeyBlogger agrees!
They’re only a dollar extra than the french fries, and worth it for a change. Crispy, well-seasoned, and generously portioned, we are obsessed!
Berry Lemonade
For our beverage, we decided to try the Berry Lemonade. A berry compote creates its bright pink liquid, served over ice.
Guests can pick up the item for $5.99. Although it’s not specific to Disney100, this beverage is worth celebrating!
Our MickeyBlogger shares that it’s perfectly sweet. It tastes incredibly fresh with the lemon and berry balanced nicely.
Perfect for a hot Southern California afternoon, we would order it again in an instant. A big straw helps you slurp up all the delicious berry pieces!
Mickey-Shaped Beignets
For dessert, we enjoyed the Mickey-Shaped Beignets for $4.99. There are a couple of locations where you can pick up beignets at Disneyland, including my favorite spot, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express in Downtown Disney.
That being said, our MickeyBlogger found these to be incredible. She shares that compared to Disney World, they come out on top, expecially when it comes to freshness.
She describes them as nothing short of amazing! Our MickeyBlogger adds that as someone from New Orleans, these stand up to what she’s had in Louisiana!
Keep in mind that they will be messy. That being said, they’re worth it, and are a must-have if you’re visiting Disneyland!
Along with the burger, Hungry Bear is offering a couple of special collectibles in honor of Disney100. Let’s take a closer look!
Disney100 Star Glow Cube
Don’t forget an ADORABLE Star Glow Cube to make your Disney Drink extra magical!✨#Disney100 #CelebrateDisney100 pic.twitter.com/ixvzDiI9pg

Disney invites you to light up your beverage with a Star Glow Cube! This is definitely a step up from the typical cube shape offered at the Resort.
Guests can purchase this fun item separately for $6.19. Our MickeyBlogger shares that it has a button on the back that changes the colors from white to purple.
Disney100 Mickey Mouse Straw Clip
We also picked up the Mickey Mouse Straw Clip for $7.99. The clip comes with a swirly straw upon purchase!
We hope you enjoyed this special look at Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland Resort, especially if you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting yet. MickeyBlog will continue to bring you more from magic from The Happiest Place on Earth throughout the week, so stay tuned!
