New Aerial Photos Show Progress Continuing On Star Wars Hotel
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you’ll know that construction is currently underway on a brand new Star Wars hotel experience called Galactic Starcruiser slated to open at some point next year at Walt Disney World. Once completed the Starcruiser will provide a level of accommodation like anything you’ve ever experienced before!
The hotel, which will connect directly to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will offer a 2-night fully immersive Star Wars experience designed to give guests the feeling that they are spending the night in outer space. During your stay unique storylines will be woven through you visit making you feel as if you are living out your own adventure in a galaxy far, far away.

Over the past few months we’ve shared with you a few updates on how construction is coming along on this exciting new project, most recently giving a sneak peek of what the guest rooms will look like and today, thanks to some awesome aerial footage from @bioreconstruct (who if you aren’t following on Twitter you definitely should) we can start to see the docking port take shape. This is where guests will arrive/depart when going between the Starcruiser and Galaxy’s Edge.

In another tweet, @bioreconstruct also shared an image of vegetation being planted into the area to make it feel more secluded as well as the Porte Cochere.

Here’s another look at the cast member entrance for the Starcruiser which is just off what used to be the entrance to DHS parking. It’s great at giving you a real sense of the close proximity of the property.
