Details Released For The Star Wars Hotel Coming to Walt Disney World
This weekend is going to be huge for Disney fans. The D23 Expo 2019 kicked off tonight with some very exciting previews of what’s to come over the next few days. The exclusive reveal that I’m the most excited about are the details surrounding the Star Wars vacation experience coming to Walt Disney World!
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be a new, first-of-its-kind vacation experience where guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship. Once on-board, guests will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey. Plus, every cabin window has views of space!
Inside the Disney Parks “Imagining Tomorrow, Today” pavilion at D23 Expo, visitors can see a new model and incredible visuals of the starcruiser – called the Halcyon.
The resort will also be seamlessly connected to the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, allowing guests a complete Star Wars experience.
Guests visiting the resort will be welcome to participate as a resident of the galaxy by dressing in Star Wars-inspired attire.
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is currently under development on the south side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, just east of World Drive. No date has been released yet for it’s big debut.
