Coco Day of the Dead Inspired Minnie Ears Arrive At Animal Kingdom
A brand new pair of adorable ears has just appeared in today! How amazing are these Coco Day of the Dead inspired Minnie Ears! They are perfect way to start your festive day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
The ears themselves are a vibrant pink with Día de Muertos flair. The left side has heart designs inside a pink and black checkerboard pattern. The right side also has the same pink and black checker board pattern but with a flowery skull in the middle. Depictions of skulls is a common symbol of the holiday.
Across the top of the headband are bright orange and yellow Mexican marigolds. The marigold is sometimes called Flor de Muerto “Flower of Dead” due to its strong scent which is believed to guide the souls from cemeteries to their family homes.
The soft headband sides have sparkles surrounding a colorful butterfly.
