‘Skeleton Crew’ Star Kerry Condon Lauds the Upcoming ‘Star Wars’ Series
When Dave Fioloni brings together the heroes of the New Republic for his Star Wars feature film, the Star Wars guru will pull characters from The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and, interestingly enough, Skeleton Crew.
For those who are unaware, Skeleton Crew was initially announced at Star Wars Celebration 2022. The Disney+ series will tell the story of four kids who must make their way across the galaxy.

Set during the New Republic era and also starring Jude Law as the adult lead, Skeleton Crew is set to bring a different kind of story to the Star War canon.
Inspired By Amblin
The Skeleton Crew team has made no secret that the series will be inspired by the Amblin movies of the 1980s, such as The Goonies, E.T., and Gremlins.

Still, even with the show focused on its young cast, Law insists the stakes are real.
“They need guidance, but they’re vulnerable. And so throughout, the people they meet, you question all of them. Is my character nice? Is he not? You just want them to be alright and get back home. But if you know Jon and Chris’ work, you’ll know that the kids aren’t always safe.Seeing this galaxy, this world that we’ve all grown up loving, and the jeopardy, the divides, the heroes, the villains, through the eyes of children, is brilliant,” he told Empire.
Kerry Condon Loved Filming ‘Skeleton Crew’
In a recent interview with Variety, Skeleton Crew star Kerry Condon gave her thoughts on the series. As it turns out, she loved the experience.

” It’s so great. I don’t even have kids, but I’d pay to see this. I loved it. I loved being on it. There was something about it that was so innocent and playful and lovely. People say don’t work with kids or animals, but I don’t know about that. And also when children are good actors, they’re kind of out-of-this-world good. So watching some of the kids’ scenes, it was amazing,” he said.
“Jude Law’s in it and I’ve worked with him before. But it’s really adventurous and they got such great directors for each episode – the Daniels, Bruce Dallas Howard, Lee Isaac Cheung, David Lowery. It was a pretty amazing group. And of course, Jon Watts who created the whole thing.”
When Will ‘Skeleton Crew’ Premiere?
While we don’t have a release date for Skeleton Crew, the series should be next in line after The Acolyte premieres this June.
