PHOTOS: Crowds Remain at Magic Kingdom After Presidents Day Weekend
The holiday weekend is over, but it looks like the crowds remain, especially at Magic Kingdom. Our reporting team is live at the parks and noticed that the post-holiday crowds are still here.
Holidays and long weekends tend to be pretty busy times in the parks, and we noticed the long lines and wait times kicking off the holiday last week.
Our team also spotted plenty of crowds yesterday as we visited Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
However, we were surprised to see the crowds still here today. Disney Genie+ for Magic Kingdom is sold out and some of our favorite attractions are experiencing high wait times.
Magic Kingdom Crowds
It is a beautiful day and we stopped by Magic Kingdom to see just how busy things were this morning, and it looks like plenty of guests extended their vacation through the week.
Check out the line at Space Mountain where the stand-by line is 70 minutes to get on.
And here is another busy attraction! Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is around a 60-minute wait.
And the Tomorrowland Speedway is also experiencing higher than average wait times with a 40-minute wait.
Look at the lines here — Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is one of the most popular attractions and today it is already 130 minutes.
Even the Mad Tea Party has a long queue with guests waiting 40 minutes.
How long would you wait to experience any of these attractions? The crowds are likely to lessen as the week goes on and the wait times should drop too.
