Genie+ “Multiple Parks” Option Sells Out to Kick Off Presidents Day Weekend
With guests from all over the country descending on Walt Disney World for Presidents Day weekend, the resort is BUSY.
Earlier today, we told you that Annual Passholder Park Reservations had run out for the day and that Genie+ prices were high based on the anticipated crowds.
Now, the Disney Genie+ “Multiple Parks” option has also sold out.
Genie+ Option Sells Out
As usual, the “Multiple Parks” cost the same amount as the most expensive park. Today, the Genie+ Multiple Parks option costs guests $27 a person (the same as the Magic Kingdom).
With park hopping opening up now, it looks like guests have bought up all the Multiple Parks Genie+ packages available.
As of 2:00 pm ET, Genie+ is still available for purchase at all four Walt Disney World parks individually. The Magic Kingdom Genie+ costs $27, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is available for $24, EPCOT is $19, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom costs $17 a person.
Interestingly, when Disney introduced dynamic pricing for the Genie+ service, it was expected that prices would be raised on busy days to prevent a sell-out. So far, however, that has not been the case.
Based on today’s Genie+ prices and the fact that the Multiple Parks option sold out, it is possible that crowds are even heavier than expected.
This Weekend Will Be Busy
With heavy crowds expected all weekend, it would not be a surprise to see prices increase tomorrow, and perhaps one or more Genie+ options will sell out again.
