Three ‘Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures’ Shorts Land on YouTube
Star Wars fans will get their first real look at the High Republic era in a surprising way, when Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures debuts on Disney+ on May 4.
The new series will follow the adventures of Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Slay, and Nubs as they train in the ways of the force. The series will also include Master Yoda, Nash Durango, and RJ-83.

Introduction To The High Republic
According to the show’s official synopsis, the young Jedi will “study the ways of the Force and explore the galaxy. They will also help citizens and creatures in need, and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way.”

While the High Republic era may be the next big Star Wars frontier, with live-action series such as The Acolyte set during the era, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will be the first show released to be set within the timeframe.
Where To Watch
Right now, young Star Wars fans can head over to YouTube and watch three shorts. These mini-episodes introduce the show’s main characters. The shorts are titled “Meet the Young Jedi,” “Lys’ Creature Caper,” and “Kai’s Daring Droid Rescue.”
