Work Continues on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Queue
As work continues on this massive Magic Kingdom project, details are being added to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue.
It’s been almost a year since this major retheme began, and we’ve seen changes both big and small.

Check out the queue details we found recently…
Queue Update
Disney doesn’t just focus on the details of the ride itself. The magic starts in the queue.
We’ve been watching different areas of the queue take form at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, taking in all the details!
The texture and variation of the walkway add to the feel of the theme.
And we are loving these railings that they’re adding to the queue!
They remind us of what we’d expect in New Orleans, giving off the perfect vibe.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Though many guests loved Splash Mountain, a lot are also excited for the debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Since January 2023, we’ve watched the transformation take place. The most obvious is the new look of the mountain.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction
Imagineers also added the Tiana’s Foods water tower that is topped with a replica of Tiana’s crown.
The Laughing Place Playground that was formerly near the stairs to the train station has been completely removed.
In addition to the area of the queue and the railing that we’ve seen most recently, we previously watched Imagineers add detailed brick walkways.
Aesthetics like a colorful mural were hand-painted and show off one of our favorite characters from The Princess and the Frog.
We can’t wait to see how it looks when it all comes together!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opening
Because it’s such an extensive project, this one is taking some time.
Work started as soon as Splash Mountain officially closed, with changes noticed daily.
There’s still some time until we can experience this new attraction! Estimated completion is late 2024.

Until then, we will continue to update you on the progress we see, like the additions to the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue.
