Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe Receives Work at Magic Kingdom

Between festive wreaths, shimmering lights, and magnificent Christmas trees, the holidays are a special time of year when our homes – and the Disney Parks – get a magical holiday makeover.
Even our favorite Disney characters get a holiday glow-up complete with fabulous festive fashion!
So it seems fitting that Magic Kingdom’s Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe should receive a little holiday magic of its own.
Our team stopped by Liberty Square to get a closer look!
Mystery and Magic at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
In early 2023, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe received an interior refurbishment. Now, the work has moved outside.
Work is currently in progress along the back side of the building. The lower half of the shop is obscured by large rectangular planters with tall shrubbery.
Meanwhile, the upper half of the building is covered in a cream-colored tarp.

No official statement has been made by Disney and the scope of the project remains unclear. However, a refresh of the exterior facade seems likely.
