The Perfect Summer Dole Whips Have Arrived in Disney Springs!
When you think of iconic Disney World snacks, which do you think of? There are the classics, like Mickey Premium Bars or Mickey Waffles, as well as the less traditional ones that have gained popularity in recent years, like the Adventureland Spring Rolls.
Personally, I think of Dole Whip! There are so many different kinds of Dole Whip around Disney World and my trip just isn’t complete without having at least one version of the dessert while I’m on property.
And now, there are some new Dole Whip treats over in Disney Springs — let’s go try them out!
New Treats at Swirls on the Water
First up, we have the new Dole Whip Margarita Float! This is Dole Whip mango swirled with Dole Whip lime topped with chili-lime seasoning and diced mango and then garnished with a lime slice for $17.
This is an alcoholic treat — the liquid at the bottom is a classic margarita!
We thought this was really good! It’s very light and refreshing.
Even though there is tequila in this, it wasn’t super strong. It’s just a really good classic margarita flavor!
The flavors of the mango and lime go great together and the chili-lime seasoning on top adds another layer to this treat that makes it a hit!
We’d definitely recommend this one if you like margaritas and want something refreshing on a hot day.
Next up is the new Matcha Cone! This is Dole Whip strawberry and coconut soft-serve swirled in a matcha waffle cone and topped with strawberry sauce and coconut flakes for $5.99.
We also thought this treat was delicious! The strawberry paired well with the coconut and both went well with the matcha waffle cone.
You can really taste the matcha flavor in the cone and it definitely tastes like it was made fresh!
The coconut flakes provide a nice added texture, too. Do note that since this has the coconut soft-serve in it, the treat does contain dairy.
We recommend trying this treat out if you like strawberry and coconut and want a refreshing treat!
