NEWS: Blizzard Beach Officially Reopens in Disney World!
Over the past few years, things have been switching up with Disney World’s water parks from time to time. When one park is open, the other one is closed, and they keep taking turns!
Typhoon Lagoon just closed down for refurbishment on November 5th, so you know what that means — Blizzard Beach is now open!
Blizzard Beach Reopens
Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened at Disney World! The park is back after being closed since March of this year.
The park will be open every day from 10AM to 5PM, unless otherwise noted.
Blizzard Beach (as you can probably tell) has a theme meant to look like a “melting” ski resort. It’s perfect as we head into the holiday season!
Also, Santa Claus will be meeting and greeting guests over here for the holidays. Lookout for him, because he’ll be wearing his beach clothes!
The kids area of the park — Tike’s Peak — got a Frozen makeover the last time the park was open. You can see Olaf…
…Anna & Elsa…
…and Kristoff & Sven!
Oh, and don’t forget about those Snowgies!
The park has a ton of fun attractions from water slides to a lazy river!
There are also some new food items available in Blizzard Beach!
At Arctic Expeditions, you can find the new S’mores Churros and the new Banana Split Churros.
And, over at Warming Hut, there are the new Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings.
It wasn’t open yet when we went by this morning, but there are a lot of tasty options here.
We’re so excited this winter wonderland of a water park is back open. You can read more about it right here!
