There are two water parks in Disney World, and Disney just announced that the tropical-themed Typhoon Lagoon water park is reopening on March 19th. But now we have news for the other Disney World water park!
Blizzard Beach to Close for Refurbishment
After reopening following a long closure in November 2022, Disney’s Blizzard Beach will close for refurbishment beginning on March 19th, 2023, according to Disney World’s website. Yes, that’s the same day that Typhoon Lagoon reopens!
No reopening date is currently listed.

Blizzard Beach has a wintery theme, and it also includes Frozen-inspired decor! If you want to check it out soon, make sure you visit before March 19th.
The last day of operation will be March 18th, 2023.
