BREAKING: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Reopening Date Announced
You might not know that Disney World has TWO water parks, but only one of them has been available at a time over the past few years.

Back in November 2022, Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon water park closed for refurbishment, leading to the long-awaited reopening of Blizzard Beach. But in a few weeks, this is changing!
Typhoon Lagoon to Reopen March 19th
Disney just announced that Typhoon Lagoon will reopen to guests on March 19th, 2023!
While Blizzard Beach has a winter theme, Typhoon Lagoon has more of a tropical vibe.

In fact, Typhoon Lagoon has one of the biggest wave pools in the world, and you can even surf on it!

Disney previously announced that Disney H2O Glow After Hours would return to Typhoon Lagoon on select nights between May and September, so we’re not totally surprised by the reopening date.

Disney World’s other water park, Blizzard Beach, is now scheduled to close for refurbishment on March 19th, 2023.
