BREAKING: Haunted Mansion Parlor Coming to the Disney Treasure
Disney is not done adding new ships to the Disney Cruise Line fleet!
The Disney Treasure is currently under construction and scheduled to sail its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024. But what makes it different from the other five ships?
The Disney Treasure will feature characters and themes from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Aladdin, Coco, Zootopia, and more, with new lounges, a Coco-themed dining experience, and a brand new Moana Broadway-caliber show.
And now…Disney just shared a spooky addition coming to the Disney Treasure!
Haunted Mansion Parlor
In addition to the Jungle Cruise-themed Skipper Society and the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Periscope Pub, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will be another lounge option on board the Disney Treasure!

Thanks to photos shared by Entertainment Weekly, we get a first look at this new parlor.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will be the first Haunted Mansion-themed lounge on a Disney Cruise ship, telling the “story of a captain who entered the ghostly realm following a tragic dinner with his fiancee.” The parlor’s design “will resemble a first-class drawing room of a classic cruise liner from the golden age.”
A custom musical arrangement by Shruti Kumar will help set the scene.
The theming is specifically pulled from the 1969 version of Haunted Mansion in Disneyland, with design features such as the iconic wallpaper, the mantel clock, the “Donald Duck chair,” and the hitchhiking ghosts behind the bar.
Disney also shared that the Haunted Mansion Parlor will include “legendary characters from Haunted Mansion attractions at Disney Parks around the world, as well as new seafaring arrivals” that will apparently appear in the portrait gallery.
And we can’t forget the cocktails!
The menu will include themed drinks, of course, such as the Ghoulish Delight, a combination of ube-flavored fudge, oat milk, tapioca pearls, and a gummy eyeball garnish.
Or try the non-alcoholic Sympathetic Libations, a creation of blood orange and sour cherry flavors.
The Signature Haunted Mansion Parlor Drink is a unique tequila-based margarita with a swirl of flavored smoke and topped with lemon salt foam, and it also includes a secret message that can only be read under black light.
There will also be merchandise, of course, such as a miniature version of the mantle clock, which was inspired by the grandfather clock you can see in the Haunted Mansion.
This music box is rumored to have belonged to the captain’s fiancee, which may or may not open when in the presence of malevolent spirits.
There will also be a mug “engraved with spooky sea life and a small mirror that flashes images of hitchhiking ghosts.”
