‘The Tale of Moana’ to Debut on the Disney Treasure
One of the biggest selling points for a Disney Cruise Line vacation is the Broadway-caliber entertainment. That tradition will continue when the all-new Disney Treasure sets sail for the first time in December 2024 and debuts “The Tale of Moana!”

Held in the Walt Disney Theater aboard the Disney Treasure, “‘The Tale of Moana” will bring the adventurous journey of Moana, inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, to center stage for the first time. The show will follow Moana as she embarks on an incredible journey to save her island after she is chosen by the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti.

In addition to Moana, “The Tale of Moana” aboard the Disney Treasure will feature iconic characters from the hit Disney Movie, including Gramma Tala, Maui, and Tamatoa.
Fans of the movie will also notice some of their favorite tunes in the show’s soundtrack.

In addition to “The Tale of Moana” debuting on the Treasure, Guests setting sail on this new ship will be able to take in two other popular shows that, if you sailed on another Disney Cruise Line ship, you will be sure to know. These include “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.”

The Disney Treasure will set sail on its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024, from Port Canaveral, Florida. The ship will then continue sailing on 7-night Eastern and Western voyages from Port Canaveral, Florida and include stops at Disney’s private island oasis, Castaway Cay.
