Greenery Added to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World
Splash Mountain shut down at the beginning of this year in Disney World to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The new ride will essentially be the same ride system and track, just with a new theme based on The Princess and the Frog!
The makeover is supposed to be finished sometime at the end of 2024. We check out the construction over at the former Splash Mountain regularly, and we’ve recently noticed some new additions!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Update
A lot of new greenery has been added to the outside of the mountain.
It can be a little tough to see with all of the scaffolding, but we’re going to try and give you the closest looks possible!
For reference, here’s what the mountain looked like before it closed down to undergo its Princess and the Frog makeover:
There was grass on the tops of parts of the mountain.

You can even see that there is some moss or green paint on the sides.
Here’s another look:
Overall, it just looks more lush.
If you look closely, you can even see some flowers in the greenery!
This goes for the areas extended off of the primary mountain as well.
You can see that a lot of grass and other plants have been added to the tops of the structures over here.
We can’t wait to see what else will be added!
