Disney World Debuts New Instagram-ish Mobile Order Feature
If you don’t want to wait in line to order your food, a good alternative is to use Mobile Order.

Mobile Order
Mobile Order is a feature in the My Disney Experience app that allows guests to purchase food from participating locations, which can be really convenient when you’re planning your day.
Order your lunch while you’re in line for a ride, or place an order for the next available pickup window!

After a recent update just a few months ago, it looks like Mobile Order has been updated again.
New Mobile Photo Galleries
Disney just introduced Mobile Order Photo Galleries, which operate similarly to how Instagram stories work.
Clicking on a restaurant’s image circle with a blue ring lets you see full-screen photos of the restaurant as well as popular dishes.

The Mobile Order screen now looks like this! Let’s click on one of the circular images to see what happens.

We clicked on Connections Eatery, and here’s what we saw first, with five photos available in total.

The rest of the images were Connections Eatery dishes, like the French Bistro Burger…

…and the General Tso Chicken Salad.
Essentially, this update just lets you see a bit more of the restaurant your ordering from and bigger images of what you may want to try.
