BREAKING: My Disney Experience App Icon Has Been Updated
March 31st was the last day of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, and Disney has been slowly removing all the 50th decor that was placed around the parks for 18 months.
We’ve seen the 50th medallion removed from Cinderella Castle, banners removed from Main Street, U.S.A., and more, and now another important part of Disney World has been updated!
New My Disney Experience Logo
The My Disney Experience app has been updated! For context, here is what the app icon looked like for the 18-month 50th anniversary celebration.
Now, here’s what it looks like!
Note that you should be able to find an update for the app available in your app store, but a few people on the MickeyBlog team updated and saw no changes in the icon image yet.
If you have the correct update available, here’s what the icon looks like now! The 50 is gone, replaced by a white silhouette of Cinderella Castle on a blue ombre background.
It’s nice to see a change after 18 months of the same icon. What do you think?
