Disney World’s New Minnie Croissant Was a Bit of a Let Down
Disney World has had a lot to celebrate recently. The 50th anniversary ended back in March, Easter brought in some fun festivites, and we just celebrated May the 4th!
So, what’s the next big holiday coming up? Mother’s Day! Disney is celebrating Mother’s Day in a variety of ways including with some new foods.

Some of the items are already available, so come along with us to try one out!
Minnie Croissant Roll
This is the new Minnie Croissant Roll! It’s available at the BoardWalk Deli at Disney’s BoardWalk from now through May 14th.
This is croissant dough with raspberry marmalade on the inside for $6.99. As you can see, it has a cute little Minnie Mouse bow on the top!
When we first started eating this, we were confused about where the raspberry filling was. We took a bite and it was nowhere to be found!
But, then we started to pull it apart more and found it over to the side. So, it wasn’t in the center of the croissant.
The raspberry filling did have somewhat of an artificial taste to it and it was also very sweet. So, if you don’t like overly sweet things, this probably isn’t for you!
Our MickeyBlogger Kristen said she actually just enjoyed the croissant on its own more than eating it with the filling. The outside has a bit of a sugary crunch on the outside!
The inside is also nice, it’s soft and moist just as a croissant should be!
Kristen didn’t hate this, butshe did note that she probably wouldn’t get it again and it’s also not what she would pick for herself on Mother’s Day as a treat.
