Fabulous Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day at Walt Disney World
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and if you’re lucky enough to be spending the big day at Walt Disney World, we’ve got some fabulous ideas for pampering mom! So get prepped for Sunday, May 14th!
1. Celebrate With a Silhouette
You’ll find cut-paper silhouette artists on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. The silhouettes can be purchased as a single ($12.00) a duo ($20) or you can even get three ($24.) The artists will have you pose and they’ll create a stunning profile perfect for framing!
2. Take Mom Behind the Scenes for Mother’s Day
If your mom has a green thumb then treat her to the Behind the Seeds tour at EPCOT. You’ll go behind the scenes and into the greenhouse at The Land Pavilion where you’ll learn about the hybrid striped bass, tilapia, catfish and freshwater shrimp that EPCOT home. You’ll also be able to get up close with the gigantic fruits and vegetables and unusual crops from around the world. Your tour guides will also take you through some of the latest plant-growing techniques, including hydroponics.

3. Celebrate With One of the Incredible Papercraft Creations at LovePop in Disney Springs
Whether you’re celebrating from home or will be at Walt Disney World, you can find some beautiful papercraft creations at LovePop. They have a story at Disney Springs and you can also order items online. Our favorite selection for Mother’s Day 2023 is this “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Mother’s Day Bundle” Sally is the inspiration for this bundle which comes with a Nightmare Before Christmas Scary Sweet Bouquet of stunning paper flowers that mom can display all year round. YOu can enclose a message with The Nightmare Before Christmas Scary Sweet Boquet which is a pop-up card that features Sally in a heart.

5. Have Gifts Delivered to Mom’s Disney Resort Room
If you’re staying on-site at a Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Floral & Gifts is an absolute treasure trove of awesome floral arrangements, gift baskets, and more that you can have delivered directly to mom’s guest room You can let your love for mom soar with the Dumbo’s Circus arrangement. 6. Treat Mom to a Culinary Luau at Morimoto Asia
The Luau will take place on Sunday, March 14th, and features and includes a Hawaiian-inspired poke and sushi bar, Kahuku Food Truck’s famous garlic shrimp, Morimoto-style baby ribs, a roasted pig and a wide array of desserts from pineapple tarts to mochi. A live band will also be on hand to set the scene and hulu dancers will be there to perform. They’ll even be a strolling ukulele player who will come by to serenade Mom.
A variety of specialty cocktails will also be available for an extra charge and you also have the option of ordering a customized Leia for mom! Tickets for the event are $150 per person and space is limited so make your reservations in advance! More details can be found here.
7. Have Some Cupcake Decorating Fun
Pop over to Sprinkles at Disney Springs where they’re selling special Mother’s Day Decorate at Home Cupcake Kits. The cupcakes are pre-baked and each kit comes with frosting, sprinkles & spatulas! That means you and mom and do the creating and decorating.
Each kit includes:
