7 Things You Can Do in Disney World For Easter!
A popular time to visit Disney World coincides with both spring AND a holiday.
Spring break and Easter typically occur around the same time, which makes it a great time for many families to visit Disney World (and the crowds prove it!). If you’re planning a visit but also don’t want to miss out on Easter festivities, we’ve got you covered with a bunch of fun things you can do!
Treats
Disney World typically releases a whole bunch of colorful and tasty spring treats for Easter, and 2023 was no exception! We tried a Coconut Sugar Bunny Cupcake from Pop Century…
…a Bunny Butt Cookie from Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Disney’s Animal Kingdom…
…a Golden Egg from Let Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort…
…a Bunny Cake from Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs…
…a Chocolate Bunny from Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge…
…and much more! At Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel, the Grand Cottage pop-up treats shop is located in the hotel’s lobby, featuring all kinds of special holiday goodies.
Easter treats are available at Disney World hotels and in the parks, so don’t forget to look for them if you visit during the Easter season!

Restaurant Specials
Like other holidays, Easter often brings special menu items to Disney World restaurants, and some restaurants also offer generally great opportunities for dining on Easter morning.
City Works Eatery & Pour House in Disney Springs features the Rock ‘N’ Roll brunch from 10AM to 3PM on Saturdays and Sundays, including on Easter.
For the City Works brunch, guests can enjoy special offerings like these:
- Jon Bun Jovi: Warm jumbo cinnamon roll with orange cream cheese frosting
- Chimi Hendrix: Breakfast chimichanga with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, green onion, pico de Gallo, smoked cheddar, chipotle salsa roja, fried flour tortilla, and cheesy potato casserole
- The Clash Smash: Smashed avocado on toasted challah, roasted corn, pickled red onion, shaved radish, sunny-side-up eggs, citrus vinaigrette, and microgreens
If you’re visiting Disney World on Easter, it may be worth double-checking whether any restaurants are offering a limited-time Easter menu!
Egg Hunt
If you’re looking for an activity, EPCOT’s Eggstravaganza scavenger hunt is fun for the whole family. You can search for eggs on your own throughout the park or purchase a $9.99 game board, which you can redeem for a prize.
The eggs are placed around EPCOT in various places, with some located on the ground…
…and others up high, so remember to look all around you!
If you purchase a game board, you can redeem it for a prize regardless of whether you actually find all the eggs or not. No pressure — just fun!

Egg Displays
Giant Easter egg displays can be found in several Disney World hotels, such as Grand Floridian, Beach Club, Yacht Club, and more.
These eggs are painstakingly designed and decorated by Cast Members.
No park ticket is required to view these egg creations, which makes it even better!
Even if you aren’t staying at one of these Disney hotels, you can still stop in and take a look at the eggs. And at no extra cost, it’s a fun and inexpensive way to celebrate the holiday with the whole family.

Easter Baskets
Another thing you can do at most Disney World hotels is purchase pre-made Easter baskets containing some epic goodies!
Most of the baskets are Disney-themed, usually containing some kind of Disney character plush or toy and candy. These baskets include 2023 Mickey and Minnie bunnies!
We’ve seen these baskets occasionally available in the parks too, but you’ll most likely find them in the hotels.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Bunny
Many people don’t know that you can meet Mr. and Mrs. Bunny for a limited time in Magic Kingdom! They’re usually around the week before Easter from approximately 9AM to 5PM.
In 2023, they were located just beyond Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in a gazebo.
You can also catch a glimpse of the iconic Bunny couple in the Easter Parade, which we’ll talk about below!

Easter Parade
And finally, there’s an Easter Parade held in Magic Kingdom for ONE weekend only! We’re talking about the Saturday before Easter and Easter itself. It’s one of the most exclusive Disney World parades!
There are usually only one or two showtimes each day, so you definitely want to get to Magic Kingdom early and ask a Cast Member to be sure.
