Water Outage Happening Soon at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Disney World might be The Most Magical Place on Earth, but that doesn’t mean it’s without its fair share of everyday problems.
The weather can shut down rides, locations can be closed for maintenance, and you do sometimes have to wait in long lines for a lot of things (that’s life!). Disney does try to give some advance notice for interruptions they know are happening, though.
And, if you’re staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn this week, you need to know about an important temporary interruption!
BoardWalk Water Outage
There will be a water outage at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn on Saturday, April 1st from 1AM to 5AM. That means there will be an interruption of water to your room if you’re staying here!
Now, luckily this is a pretty short water outage, and hopefully many people will sleep right through it! But, if you need to get up early to take a shower or use the bathroom, keep in mind that you might not be able to do that.

You might want to plan on taking a shower the night before, or waiting until after 5AM. If you need to use the bathroom for any reason, do note that there are others in the BoardWalk Inn that you can find on your My Disney Experience app (or ask a Cast Member!).

This water interruption could be a result of the bathroom construction going on in the BoardWalk Inn’s lobby, but Disney has not stated the specific reason. Just be aware that you can’t use those specific lobby bathrooms during this outage!
We’re not sure if the water outage will effect any other Disney World resort hotels at this time, but we will keep our eyes peeled for any more info!
