Disney’s Snickers Cookie Looks Better Than It Tastes
There are a TON of iconic snacks that you can get in Disney World. Dole whip, Mickey bars, Mickey pretzels, churros, popcorn — the list goes on and on.
Perhaps some of the most iconic snacks are those that are Mickey-shaped! If Disney can shape something into Mickey, they will.
Today, we found a classic cookie that’s gotten a Mickey makeover. So, come with us to try it out!
Mickey Snickers Cookie
We tried out the new Large Mickey Cookie with Chopped Snickers today in Magic Kingdom! This is a chocolate chunk cookie dipped in milk chocolate and topped with chopped Snickers for $6.49.
You can find it over at Main Street Confectionery. You might be a little confused because there was already a Snickers cookie available at this location, and you would be right!
There used to be a different version of the Snickers cookie at the Confectionery. Cast Members told us that this one is the new recipe and is Mickey-shaped.
As you can see, the chopped Snickers are visible in the chocolate coating on top of the cookie. Looks amazing, but how does it taste?
Unfortunately, this cookie was a little too dry for us. We expected a more buttery cookie, but there was almost no moisture here.
The part covered in chocolate and Snickers pieces was better though because it added a nice amount of moisture! The peanuts also had a good flavor to add and the Snickers pieces gave it some chewiness.
It’s big enough to share, which is a plus, but we weren’t very impressed otherwise. Our MickeyBlogger Kristen gave it a 6 out of 10 points.
This cookie was average at best. There are a lot of other large, shareable desserts in Magic Kingdom that will probably be more enjoyable for you. Stay tuned for more Disney snack news and updates!
