Big Crowds Spotted Outside of Magic Kingdom
Spring Break season can be SUPER crowded in Disney World. It’s pretty normal to see very long lines for rides, food, merch, and more.
We’ve been seeing a lot of crowds lately, and they should not be underestimated. Crowds can really put a damper on your plans if you’re not careful!
And, this morning, we noticed even more long lines in Disney World.
Magic Kingdom Crowds
We found some BIG crowds outside of Magic Kingdom today! We got to the entrance of the park around 9AM and were met with these very long lines of people waiting to scan in.
The park opened up at 8AM today, so it’s safe to say that getting there a little bit later than opening time will not help you avoid the morning crowds. You might even have better luck getting there before it opens!
If you want to try your best to avoid these kinds of crowds, we would suggest taking advantage of that Early Morning Entry if you’re staying at a Disney hotel or another qualifying hotel. With Early Morning Entry, you can get in 30 minutes before regular opening time.
Another option is to plan to go to Magic Kingdom during the second half of the day and stay until close. You can have a slow morning chillin’ by the pool or go to a different park first.
Just be aware that crowds like this are normal for this time of the year, and will probably continue this way through April at least. So many people just want some warm weather and Disney magic for spring break!
You might just have to accept crowds as normal for your springtime trip. We would suggest you remain flexible and patient, because scheduling activities down to the minute probably isn’t going to work out like you hope it will.
Just be prepared to go with the flow or change your plans throughout the day if you need to! Also, definitely book those dining reservations as far in advance as possible.
