Popcorn in the Parks
Snacks are available all over the theme parks. It feels like you can find Mickey Pretzels and popcorn every time you turn around!
Many popcorn stands offer refillable popcorn buckets. You may even see long lines for rare, sought-after popcorn buckets.
Popcorn at these snack stands is the standard butter popcorn. In some gift shops throughout the parks, you can find flavored, pre-bagged options.
But what if you want something a little different?
Main Street Confectionary
As you enter the Magic Kingdom and pass under the Walt Disney World Railroad Station, you get your first view down Main Street, USA.
Before you even get to it, you will probably smell the Main Street Confectionary.

The Main Street Confectionary sells a wide variety of sweet treats. There is really something for everyone!
Pre-packaged treats are available. Guests are also able to select treats from the display cases.
Some fan favorites are caramel and chocolate dipped apples and Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie Treats.
All treats come in a variety of options, with different types of chocolate and a variety of toppings.
Chocolate covered pretzel rods and Jack-Jack’s Nom Nom cookies are also available. And don’t forget cookies and cupcakes!
For those fascinated by how things are made, there is a large window to the kitchen area where you can watch the magic happen!
Just past that window is an extra-special treat just for popcorn lovers!
The Kernel Kitchen
Toward the back of the store is a sign that reads “Candied Popcorn”.
It’s not very obvious, especially if the Confectionary is crowded and busy. This hidden gem for popcorn lovers could easily be missed!
With multiples steps, guests are able to create their own popcorn concoction.
First, Choose Your Popcorn
Creating your own popcorn mix is a three-step process. In the first step, you choose your popcorn.
There can be as many as four different popcorn options to choose from. Standard flavors are original butter and cheddar.
Other options are available throughout the year, such as red and green popcorn during the Christmas season.
Once you’ve selected your popcorn flavor, it’s on to the next step!
Second, Choose Your Syrup
The second step is to choose your syrup. If you’re a fan of sweet and salty combinations, you’re going to love this!
There are three syrup options to choose from: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate.
In this step, your popcorn will be drizzled with the syrup of your choosing. But don’t forget to plan ahead to step three to make sure it all works together…
Last, Choose Your Candies
After choosing your popcorn and drizzling it with your chocolate choice, it’s time for the finishing touch!
The third step is to choose your candies! And you have a lot of choices!
Pricing is available for 2 and 3 candies. But don’t worry, if you must have more, you can add additional candies for a little extra.
There can be as many as 12 candy options, ranging from plain m&m’s to pretzel pieces to Skittles.
