Holiday Fun at the Grand Floridian’s Enchanted Rose
Christmas is just about here and one of my favorite ways to celebrate are to meet up with friends at the amazing dining and lounge locations at Walt Disney World. And there are so many amazing options, but one of my favorites to visit during the holidays? The Grand Floridian’s Enchanted Rose.
The elegance, the ambiance, and the classic Christmas charm all come together at this beautiful location. It is one of my favorite places to visit.
Fans of Beauty and the Beast will love this beautiful location nestled on the second floor of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
It features elegant nods to the Disney classic with sophisticated decor and a great menu of small bites and delicious drinks. It is the perfect place for holiday fun!
The Theming!
Feel like you stepped into your favorite Disney fairytale and be transported the second you step into this beautiful lounge. It is warm, inviting, and elegant.
A Disney cast member greets you by the door and assists you in finding a seat.
There are four gorgeous rooms with various themes related to Beauty and the Beast! We were seated in the whimsical garden room, which depicts forest scenes surrounding the beast’s castle.
Relax with a drink, converse with friends, or explore any of the themed rooms (and one outdoor terrace) inspired by Belle.
The seating areas are all comfortable and intimate and the service is excellent.
The Drinks!
It is Christmas and I could not wait to relax in the beautiful lounge with a great cocktail. The Enchanted Rose features an excellent selection of beer, wine, martinis, cocktails, and specialty drinks.
The London Fog is a delicious offering and a personal favorite.
Featuring Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin, Rothman Crème de Violette, and English Breakfast Tea, the sweet drink was creamy and unique with its blend of Vanilla and light Cream flavors.
Another great offering? The Seasonal Old Fashioned. This was a fun holiday twist on a classic drink.
The Seasonal Old-fashioned features Widow Jane 10yr straight bourbon, House-made cranberry syrup, and cranberry bitters.
The drink had the perfect balance of tartness and was the perfect holiday drink.
The Eats!
Check out the above food and drink offerings. The Lounge serves light snacks from 330PM–10PM and a variety of tasty appetizers from 5PM -10 PM
Crab Macaroni and Cheese and Truffle Fries are just a few of the yummy bites!
The Truffle Fries are a favorite and I am still craving them. Perfectly crispy and full of flavor! Shaved Black Truffles and 18-Month Aged Parmesan served with a side of chilled and creamy aioli. It was delicious.
We also indulged in the seasonal flatbread featuring artichoke, Fig, Ricotta, Roasted Garlic, and Watercress. Delish!
The Details!
The Enchanted Rose is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It is located on the second floor and easily accessible from the elevators or taking the grand staircase.
Open seven nights a week from 3:30 PM to 10 PM, I highly recommend experiencing this lounge during the holidays. And afterwards explore the beauty of the hotel and visit the Gingerbread house for some yummy treats and great photo ops!
