New Scaffolding Added at Columbia Harbour House
While scoping out the ongoing projects around Magic Kingdom, we spotted some new scaffolding added at Columbia Harbour House.
Months ago, we first saw scaffolding and barriers around Columbia Harbour House, indicating the beginning of refurbishments.
Here’s where things stand today…
Some Added, Some Removed
All evidence of refurbishment exists on the outside of Columbia Harbour House.
There is scaffolding at the front of the building, next to the entrance. However, the doors are not blocked, so guests can still enter as usual.
There is also scaffolding and screens at the side of the building.
Construction walls block the view of the ground level, but scaffolding with black sheets can be seen spanning the second level.
We have noticed some areas where scaffolding has been removed. Some plants have been added, too.
Despite the exterior refurbishment taking place, this quick-service restaurant remains open for lunch and dinner dining.
Columbia Harbour House
When people think of quick-service dining, a lot of times they assume the only options are burgers, chicken tenders, and hot dogs.
Thankfully, Disney World has other options! At Magic Kingdom, Columbia Harbour House offers some delicious alternatives.
And if you love seafood, this is one you want to check out…
A fan favorite (and my personal favorite) is the Lobster Roll! It’s not too heavy, but definitely enough to leave you satisfied.
If you aren’t a fan of lobster, there are shrimp and fish options, too.
Don’t worry if not everyone in your party likes seafood. They have chicken strips, too, in both kid and adult meals.
Avoid waiting in line to order by using Mobile Order through your My Disney Experience app!
If you see this new scaffolding added at Columbia Harbour House on your next Magic Kingdom visit, don’t worry, it’s still open. Stop in and give them a try!
