Meet the Most Complimented Cast Member in Walt Disney World
If you are a frequent Walt Disney World visitor, then you know that it is not the attractions, characters, or even the food that makes the resort the Most Magical Place on Earth. It is the Cast Members.
The task of spreading Disney magic, and ensuring that guests have a vacation they will always remember falls to Walt Disney World’s Cast Members who often do so with enthusiasm and a smile.

One cast member who consistently goes above and beyond for guests is Willie Jackson, a PhotoPass photographer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Turning Guests Into Movie Stars
More than just taking their photos, Jackson makes each guest feel like a movie star in the spotlight.
“I like to be a director or producer, and when I get guests to me, they really are my actors,” said Jackson. “I try my very best to show them certain areas they can pose.”

Jackson has worked for Disney for 14 years. For the last six, he has been behind the camera. On World Compliment Day, however, it was Jackson’s chance to take center stage, when he was recognized as the most complimented Cast Member. In the last year alone, Jackson has gotten 1,000 compliments sent in from guests!
“I still am surprised because, like I said, I’m only being Willie, just being myself. I can’t be anybody else,” said Jackson.
Making Memories
For many visitors to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, visiting Willie is a “must-do” after entering the park. Annual Passholders McKenzie and Celan, for example, always make sure they stop by and visit.

“He just makes this place so magical,” said McKenzie Robinson. “He’s just always so smiley, and we always make sure to stop and get a picture with him. He’s just awesome.”
On World Compliment Day, Willie hopes that everybody remembers that there is always something to smile about.

“I always tell people all the time, I ain’t going to ever stop smiling,” said Willie. “I’m going to smile the rest of my life. I won’t let nobody take this away from me. Nobody.”
