Winnie the Pooh Musical Comes To Los Angeles In November
Fans of the Hundred Acre Wood will be thrilled to hear about a magical production heading to the west coast next month. A Winnie the Pooh musical is coming to Los Angeles in November!

I don’t know about you, but I love Winnie the Pooh! My mother created a Winnie the Pooh-themed nursery for me as a baby, and I carried on the tradition with my son, when he was born.
Mickey Blog has exciting news for fellow fans! A musical stage adaptation of Winnie the Pooh, created by Jonathan Rockefeller is coming to the Kirk Douglas Theatre on November 23.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Robin will be joined by all of his beloved friends including, Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Kango, Roo, Rabbit, Owl, and Tigger. This cast of nostalgic characters will appear in life-size puppetry form, paying tribute to A.A. Milne’s classic stories.

Entitled Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation, it’s scheduled to open for a limited run, until December 30. The roughly one-month-long production will take the audience on a new adventure in an original, modern story.
Director Jonathan Rockefeller commented, “The music, the spectacular life-size puppets, and the charming performances are the perfect way to introduce audiences to live theatre, and this is a must-see show for Winnie the Pooh fans of all ages.”
He went on to say, “We are excited to bring the Hundred Acre Wood to Los Angeles!” The show is making its west coast debut in L.A. Nate Edmondson created an original score for the musical, but the songs we all know and love will be included as well!
“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Blustery Day,” “The Wonderful Thing About Tigger’s,” “Whoop-De-Dooper Bounce” and “The More It Snows” will undoubtedly ignite feelings of nostalgia for fans. Tickets are already on sale.
