Indiana Jones 5 Production Moves To Scotland
The locations on the upcoming Indiana Jones flick get more beautiful by the day…
The length of the trip certainly did not warrant a traditional “travel by map” situation. However, the Indy 5 production crew moved to Scotland and is continuing its work on the latest installment of Dr. Jones’ adventures.
And, along the way, they picked up another “doctor.” Yep, Dr. Zola himself (in the MCU), actor Toby Jones joined Harrison Ford in front of the camera.
FILMING for the fifth Indiana Jones movie has got underway in Scotland… The cast, including Harrison Ford and Toby Jones, and crew were spotted in Melrose, Scottish Borders earlier today.
Ford, 78, was spotted in classic Indiana attire, including wide-brimmed fedora and his trusty whip attached to his waist.
The cast was spotted on a grassy hillside in the Leaderfoot area of the town, next to the former railway viaduct.
One wonders what nefarious plot Indy might be tracking there in Scotland.
But, let’s say it out loud: How cool is it to see the shirt, the jacket, the whip, the pinks, and the fedora?
Oh, and Toby Jones, of course.
Fire In The Sky
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail added some more info to the stories we’ve been seeing all week.
- Staging a dramatic fire at Northumberland’s historic Bamburgh Castle, flames were seen lighting up the sky in the early hours of the morning in photos taken during a night shoot on Thursday evening into Friday morning
- A Second World War-era motorbike was visible in one of the images taken at the historic site, while a fire engine was parked on standby at the UK location
One wonders what happened to Harrison Ford later in the day. He went from looking pretty dapper to looking pretty damp.
Keep it here for more from the road to Indy 5.
