Surprising Classics on Disney Plus
The countdown is over and many eager fans have been streaming Disney shows since Tuesday. However, as we grabbed our popcorn, blankets, and remotes we were pleasantly surprised to catch some surprising classics on Disney Plus.
Prior to its launch, Disney+ provided us with an enormous list of shows and movies we would have at our fingertips. However, it turns out that many viewers were pleasantly surprised by the collection that was launched earlier this week. In fact, there are a few hidden gems that we may not have been anticipating!
Mickey Mouse Club
I’m not referring to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where you’ll find Goofy doing the “Hot Dog” dance. I’m talking about the 1950’s black and white, singing and dancing, mouse-ear wearing original television show! Those kids had some serious talent.
So grab your spot on the couch and enjoy the nostalgia of this classic!
Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color
Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color was a hit in the 1960’s. Mainly because it was the first of Disney’s television series to premiere in color.
At this time there is only one episode available from the series titled “Disneyland Around the Seasons”. We hope more will be on their way and we love that we can enjoy some classic content featuring Walt Disney himself.
Spin and Marty
This one may not be as well known, but it was a Western tv series released back in the 1950’s. This show features Spin and Marty, two boys who go on a variety of adventures during their time at Triple R Ranch summer camp. Can you feel the nostalgia?
