What is a Table Service Restaurant?
Disney’s Table Service restaurants (as opposed to Quick-Service locations, which consist of counter service or cafeteria-style eateries) are restaurants where guests are seated by a host and served by a Disney Cast Member.

Tips for Table Service Restaurants in Disney World
Make Advance Dining Reservations
It’s no secret that Disney World is a CROWDED place. While some Disney World restaurants do offer a walk-up waitlist, it’s important to make Advance Dining Reservations for any restaurant you have your heart set on.
Currently, Disney guests can make Advance Dining Reservations up to 60 days in advance. Be sure to set your calendars to secure your table at your most coveted spots!

Check Cancellation Policies
When it comes to cancellation policies, not all table service restaurants are created equal. Disney’s current cancellation policy allows guests to cancel or modify Advance Dining Reservations up to TWO HOURS before your reservation time. However, if you need to cancel within those last two hours, you may be subject to a cancellation fee.

While this policy applies to many of Disney World’s table service restaurants, there are several restaurants with different cancellation policies. Be sure to check the details before you book.
Check Menus Ahead of Time
If you’re unfamiliar with Disney World dining, a little research will go a long way in helping you choose the best table-service restaurants for you and your family. Menus for all Disney World table service locations are available online and through the MyDisneyExperience app, so be sure to check those menus ahead of time.

The restaurant features three distinct dining rooms, each home to its own unique collection of curiosities and exotic “artifacts.”
The largest of the three rooms, the Mess Hall (main dining room) is colorful, airy, and delightfully quirky. Due to its size, it’s also the noisiest and busiest of the dining rooms.
