Know Before You Go to Monsieur Paul: Dress Code, Age Limit, and More
Epcot’s most high end restaurant is finally reopening post pandemic! Located on the second in the quaint France Pavilion, Monsieur Paul is a rare high-end, in-Park Signature Dining restaurant.
From dressy wait staff costumes to an elevated level of service all the way through the expert preparation of the dishes, Monsieur Paul is classified as a Signature Dining experience restaurant for a reason.
But with that step up comes some rules and regulations that you are definitely going to want to be aware of before you head in for your meal…
Dress Code
Disney’s in-Park table service restaurants are generally known for their casual nature. The restaurant might be gorgeously themed and the food may be more elevated than the average restaurant…but guests are always welcome and encouraged to wear their Theme Park attire inside.
At Monsieur Paul, a dress code is enforced for all diners: “This restaurant is a Disney Signature Dining experience offering fine dining with a distinctly magical flair. Guests are expected to dress accordingly in attire that adheres to the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic. Clothing should be clean, neat and in good condition. Please no swimwear.”-Disney
Cancelation Policy
Avid Disney-goers know that the restaurant cancelation policy is as follows: cancel 24 hours in advance to avoid a $10 per-person cancelation/no show fee. Very cut and dry!
At Monsieur Paul, it’s important to note that their cancelation policy is QUITE different than the other restaurants…and it is certainly something to be keenly aware of!
“Please cancel your reservation by phone or email at least 72 hours in advance of your reservation. A $100 per person cancellation fee will apply for no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the reservation.” -Disney
Age Limit
Monsieur Paul is the only table service dining location within a WDW Theme Park to enforce an age limit.
The restaurant understands that children are present in Epcot, so they’ve placed an age limit on the dining experience to ensure it is relaxing for everyone, and therefore Disney states that “guests age 10+ are invited to dine at” Monsieur Paul.
